Your new role

You will work flexible morning and afternoon shifts to support adults who are in vulnerable situations with their children. The position requires you support parents and their child with the promotion of independence and positive relations. Your role to observe and report on the families progression and interaction with their child. Supporting with daily routines, nappy changing and bottle feeds are some of your main responsibilities along with the safeguarding and welfare of both parent and child. What you'll need to succeed

Due to the high levels of observation and reporting you will need excellent written and verbal communication, you are required to have had previous experience supporting adults and children. NVQ Level 3 in children or adults social care is desirable as well as personal experience with parenting or looking after a young child.

You will be considered for this position if you can demonstrate initiative and have a strong work ethic. You will be passionate about supporting adults through this time of their life, and work well as a team and an individual to protect the residents. Purpose of the job:

The post holder will work within the CAMHS LAC service (a service delivered in partnership between Coventry and Warwickshire Mind, Relate Coventry and Warwickshire and Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust). The post holder will be involved in the development and delivery of a range of individual and group based therapeutic interventions to looked after children/young people, carers and professionals.

Essential Criteria:

* Professional qualification and up to date registration in one of the following professions: Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Psychotherapy, Counselling

* A minimum of one year’s experience of working with children and young people

* A minimum of one year’s experience of working in a mental health setting

* Experience of delivering workshops/groups to children and young people

* An ability to effectively engage with children, young people and their families

* Experience of working with a wide range of agencies

The Candidate

This is an opportunity for an experienced Theatre Practitioner to join a highly reputable company. You will have surgical experience from a similar setting of either surgical or a day case unit and this could be from either NHS, or Private Hospitals, all will be considered.

Minimum Requirements

- Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) qualification
- Current NMC/ HCPC registration
