An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading facilities management company for a Purchase Ledger Administrator to join their established team. Description

The Purchase Ledger Administrator role is initially a 6 month temporary contract which could be extended. It will suit someone with basic experience in Accounts looking to take the next step. You will have the opportunity to look after:

Maintenance of Supplier Account details; such as address, bank details and contact name and email address
To accurately process all cost of sales invoices and credits onto the supplier account on the system within the received month.

To ensure all queries are appropriately entered, noted and resolved with affected invoices placed on hold to ensure no overpayments are made
To work with FC for non-resolved issues and next steps for supplier ensure the appropriate tasks are cleared down in a timely fashion
To ensure all resolved credit notes are allocated against Invoices on query once received
To ensure all bank payments are allocated against outstanding invoices
To ensure all invoices and credit notes are scanned onto the system and filed in the appropriate Purchase Invoices files
Completion monthly of Supplier Statement Reconciliations and point of contact for designated suppliers
Ability to suggest process improvements
Any Ad Hoc Duties

Profile

Be studying AAT qualification or have relevant accounting experience

Ideally have knowledge of purchase ledger to have worked in a customer service role

Preparation of project design drawings
Coordinate with internal & external team members / design teams to assist in the Design process, providing independent checking & review services where required.
Liaise with colleagues, other departments and project teams with respect to drawing requirements
Provide the Project Engineering Team with CAD & Design support throughout the project.
Ensure that drawings are prepared, stored, issued and archived in accordance with company procedures
Ensure that chargeable work can be evaluated by the preparation of adequate records of time spent
Train other staff members on the use of MicroStation by means of individual coaching group training courses as appropriate
Assist, when required, with storage, filing and archiving of documents

Essential Qualifications & Skills

Substantial experience in being a CAD Technician
Competent in the use Bentley MicroStation (2D/3D) and ProjectWise

Able to manage your own time to meet project deadlines and budget targets.
Ability to respond to Project Manager and Client requests and meet challenging deadlines.
Eligible to work in the UK with a valid work permit if applicable
Technician experience within the Rail sector
Competent in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
