Dealing predominantly with existing customers, the purpose of the position is to deliver a high quality and professional service when customers are requesting quotes, troubleshooting issues, placing orders and booking service or breakdown visits.

* Assist in the development of customer specification for the design and construction of tooling, jigs and fixtures. Also involved in the development of packaging to the demand of the customer.

* Give advice to those estimating new business on process route, labour content and appropriate tools. Attending meetings when requested.

* Give support as directed to Production and Product Launch Teams.

* Contribute to the process / product trials reporting back to the project teams.

* Keep abreast of changes in manufacturing process technology and make recommendations as appropriate.

* Liaise with Tier 2 suppliers and Projects to ensure the maintenance of timing plans, programmes etc as necessary, which may include travel to their sites.

* Generating work instruction sheets for all new Jigs, Tooling and processes and distribute these to the production manager.

* As directed, recommend and expedite process and methods improvements that will lead to reduced manufacturing costs, improved quality and improved layout.

* To ensure that all "Waste Disposal" procedures are carried out in accordance with current statutory requirements.

Process Engineer

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications required:

* CAD experience (CATIA and/or AutoCAD is preferred)

Oleander House is a purpose-built development offering single apartments for 12 adults with learning disabilities and/or an acquired brain injury. The role of Waking Night Support Assistant will include:

* Maintaining a safe environment for residents, providing support in accordance with relevant regulations, procedures and practices

* Responding to calls should a resident need support in an emergency

* Conducting bed calls and morning calls to a high standard

* As a night position, the amount of hands-on care you will be providing is minimal

* Working in a team of 3 Waking Night staff

Skills and experiences:

* Previous experience working in care, ideally with clients who have learning disabilities, would be advantageous

* A caring, approachable nature and a confident ‘can-do’ attitude

* Ability to keep accurate records and clearly communicate relevant information to team members

* Literacy and numeracy equivalent to at least GCSE Grade C English and Mathematics, is essential

* NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards, is desirable
