Job Description: Logistics People are looking for an administrator clerk for our transport office.

Shifts available: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 18:00 or Sunday to Thursday 06:00-18:00 (one hour unpaid break)

Salary: £9.15 per hour (£21,500 per annum)

This role is temp to perm

Job Purpose:

Provide general administrative support to the onsite team ensuring daily and weekly deadlines are achieved where relevant

Provide support to ensure the depot is legally compliant in all areas including Drivers and vehicles and trailers

Main Responsibilities: 

Support the Despatch clerks to ensure the despatching/loading schedule is kept up to date in accordance with the site process and accurately despatch deliveries with any relevant delivery paperwork or other required information
Ensure all consignments are correctly administrated, rated and ready to invoice obtaining rates for any new delivery points from ESL Finance and Reporting Team where necessary
Create jobs in GTS for all Ad Hoc work as required
Monitor the Tesco Generic email inbox and action where appropriateReporting and Other
Produce reports (KPI and other) for the customer and ESL, utilising Microsoft Excel.
Assist in any project as directed by the Transport Shift Manager/Transport Manager
Liaise with Operations Managers, Account Managers their direct reports and Employees at all levels within the Group
Customer, Employment Agencies for staffing requirements. General Public enquiries.
Co-operate with your employer to enable any legal obligations to be complied with
Do not recklessly interfere with anything provided by the employer or others in the interests of health, safety or welfare.
Bring to the attention of the Retail General Manager any perceived short comings in health and safety arrangements, situations or processes that you consider to be serious or which may present danger to you or others.
Access to Stobart Gateway
Access to relevant paper and electronic medium references

Qualifications:

Desirable

Nationally recognised Health and Safety qualification

Experience:

Core

At least 1 years’ experience in the Transport Industry
Good working knowledge of WTD and EU Drivers hours regulations
Able to use effectively Microsoft Windows package (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Duties

Plan vehicle/driver routes and Resolve any driver issues
Resolve Call Centre queries via phone and email
Print off daily vehicle check sheets and file
Check all drivers are filling in Returns reports
Check agency are filling in correct paperwork e.g. non tacho driving sheets
Monitor driver routes on software  called Transend, check drivers are scanning each item and getting PDA signed and challenge if not complying
Add/delete drivers/vehicles on Transend
Add/delete vehicles on Insurance database, Dartford crossing and congestion charge
Check times drivers are placing tacho cards in tacho machines and report findings to Depot Manager
Take notes for investigations and disciplinaries
Investigate email issues regarding orders
Book in depot maintenance work with depot handyman, and any  Security and fire maintenance
Order Ad-Blue
Book hire vehicles/cars
Check state of vehicles and report findings to Depot Manager
Check state of Fork-lift trucks and report findings to Depot Manager
Carry out fire alarm test and log
Carry out lighting test and log
Memos for drivers as per instruction from Depot Manager
Driver De-brief
General Admin duties around the office, and this canalso include order any uniform required, stationary, tea and coffee, ensure rubbish bin is emptied and chase if not actioned.

Your new role as a Cleaning Operative will include the following duties:

* Have an understanding of the designated cleaning area, including the agreed work to be carried out and time allocated to the area.

* Follow the Health, Safety and Quality procedures within the role, including correct chemical usage and storage, and ensuring equipment is well maintained and safe for use.

* Take part in training on all cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals used within the premises.

* Ensure all areas of the station are clean and tidy. (Working to a cleaning rota)

* Identify potential safety or maintenance issues and communicate them to your line manager.

* Perform miscellaneous cleaning duties as instructed by the Cleaning Supervisor.

Our client is a specialist within Web Development, Software Engineering, Mobile Apps, Virtual Reality Experiences and Market Research Tools and are looking for a Private Sector Business Development Manager to get involved in new business acquisition as well as looking after key relationships. The role will maintain a focus on Large Corporate level organisations covering the UK and and targeting sectors including Retail, Insurance, Telecoms and Manufacturing.

To apply for this position Business Development Managers will need a proven track record in selling around complex IT Services and Consultancy within a hybrid role covering internal and field sales where you have also demonstrated a successful track record of winning business within multi-national accounts. Any experience of selling into Asda, Tesco, Legal and General, Lloyds, Comparison Websites or anything similar, will be of special interest.

The ideal candidate should have 3-4 years experience in the IT Services or Consultancy market and fell comfortable to work on-site in their Midlands offices, remotely from home, as well as on client-sites to build and close business.

Our client is prepared to offer a £35k-£40k basic salary in addition to an Uncapped OTE and a generous corporate benefits package.
