We're looking for someone who is experienced in landscaping and/or grounds maintenance to joining our landscaping team in Gloucestershire on a seasonal contract until November 2020. Ideally you will hold an NPTC qualification in brush cutter, pedestrian mower, ride on mower, hedge cutter and PA1 and PA6 in spraying pesticides. The role will require you to cover Cheltenham, Cirencester, Stroud and the wider Gloucestershire area, so you must live in a suitable location to effectively cover that area of work.

In this hands-on role you will:

Carry out the grounds maintenance of our green spaces
Help with the clearance of our empty homes’ gardens
Be responsible for reporting neighbourhood and community issues
Be punctual, have excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
Relish the variety and involvement on offer.Being very aware of, and adhering to, health and safety regulations is imperative due to the nature of this role.

You will need a full, clean driving licence and will be provided with a work vehicle to be shared with a colleague.

Network Systems Support Engineer

Reporting through the Engineering and Solutions team, you will be responsible for the delivery of technical support on a range of large customer-hosted systems in operational environments. This work will include but not be limited to:

Analysis of reported incidents and identification of suitable solutions to technical problems
Implementation of technical fixes to problems, including re-configuring, restarting, replacement, upgrade or modification of any system element.

Design, procurement, management and supervision of the implementation of ICT systems, as required.

TCP/IP architecture including the role that each layer provides in a network architecture.

Cisco network and server configuration technologies (both in and out of band) including Cisco IOS
Expertise in implementing VPNs, Firewalls and security of Internet facing services.

What do I need to do the role?

In support of the EST Service Manager, you will ensure that the contracted EST Service is provided in a professional, auditable, and sustainable manner, including:

As part of the EST team, conduct FIT and PAT in accordance with standards and the law, ensuring best practice at all times

Rectify installation faults discovered as a result of the inspection and/or testing of equipment, replacing items as required

To assist the EST Manager to ensure that all electrical testing related documentation is provided, accurately maintained and stored, including method statements, risk assessments, electrical test certification etc

To ensure that the Management Information System (MIS) database is maintained in an accurate manner.

To ensure correct calibration of test equipment and that it is fit for purpose. Any equipment deficiencies are to be notified to the EST Service Manager.

To contribute to potential engineering solutions to technical problems encountered during electrical inspection, testing and/or installation.

To contribute effectively to the service workload, seeking to implement improvements and innovation in service delivery, which will realise smarter working processes and potential efficiency savings.

What do I need to do the role?

City & Guilds parts 1 and 2 in Electrical Installations.

City & Guilds 2394/5 level 3 certificate of inspection and testing of electrical installations, and/or

City & Guilds 2391 level 3 certificate of inspection and testing of electrical installations, and/or

City & Guilds 2392 level 2 certificate of inspection and testing of electrical installations.

Working knowledge of electrical installations (Basic record of proven ability in related work).

City & Guilds (Apply online only) Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).

A proven working knowledge of the Code of Practice for the In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (4th Edition).

IET 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations

You will work as part of a professional team, to undertake Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) as directed by your Line Manager (LM) primarily in the UK, but occasionally overseas, to required quality standards and in accordance with legislation and national guidelines.

To possess or demonstrate the aptitude to attain a thorough familiarity with the current edition of the IET Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.
A working knowledge of electrical installations
To possess or be prepared to attain the Emergency First Aid at Work qualification

What do I need to do the role?

In support of the EST Service Manager, you will ensure that the contracted EST Service is provided in a professional, auditable, and sustainable manner, including:

As part of the EST team, conduct FIT and PAT in accordance with standards and the law, ensuring best practice at all times

Rectify installation faults discovered as a result of the inspection and/or testing of equipment, replacing items as required

To assist the EST Manager to ensure that all electrical testing related documentation is provided, accurately maintained and stored, including method statements, risk assessments, electrical test certification etc

To ensure that the Management Information System (MIS) database is maintained in an accurate manner.

To ensure correct calibration of test equipment and that it is fit for purpose. Any equipment deficiencies are to be notified to the EST Service Manager.

To contribute to potential engineering solutions to technical problems encountered during electrical inspection, testing and/or installation.

To contribute effectively to the service workload, seeking to implement improvements and innovation in service delivery, which will realise smarter working processes and potential efficiency savings.

What do I need to do the role?

City & Guilds parts 1 and 2 in Electrical Installations.

City & Guilds 2394/5 level 3 certificate of inspection and testing of electrical installations, and/or

City & Guilds 2391 level 3 certificate of inspection and testing of electrical installations, and/or

City & Guilds 2392 level 2 certificate of inspection and testing of electrical installations.

Working knowledge of electrical installations (Basic record of proven ability in related work).

City & Guilds (Apply online only) Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).

A proven working knowledge of the Code of Practice for the In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (4th Edition).

IET 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations
