The Role:

An opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Officer to join a market leader with an established reputation. Working over multiple sites you'll play a pivotal role in developing and implementation H&S policy across a fast-paced manufacturing business. You'll report into the UK HR Manager and work closely with site senior leadership teams to deliver best practice and a compliant working culture across the sites that you're responsible for. You'll take ownership of analysing accident & incident results in order to proactively contribute to reduce risk to the business.

You:

As Health & Safety Officer, you will ideally hold NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent level) and have experience of managing Health & Safety within a manufacturing environment. You should also be able to demonstrate an understanding of PUWER and LOTOTO - Energy Isolation. An analytical approach is an asset for this role as is the ability to engage and influence at all levels.

The Package:

The salary on offer for the Health & Safety Officer will be up to £41,000 + Company Benefits

Working hours are Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm and this role will cover multiple sites across the South East.

The Intermediate Mechanical Engineer that is lucky enough to be a part of this team would be based in Tonbridge. They will have advanced skills in the design of mechanical systems within a variety of different building types. You will have ideally started to experience what it takes to manage and lead some of your own smaller scale projects and will be comfortable liaising with clients and other professionals from a variety of disciplines, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and to the client's specification. You must also continue their unique personal service in all the work that you do. Ideally you will have a strong understanding and practise of thermal modelling software such as BREEAM and EPC.

Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:

Must have a degree in building services or mechanical engineering
Minimum of 4 years design experience in a design role within the building services industry
