THE ROLE
In this role you will use your expertise to aid the installation, calibration and commissioning of new and existing production lines. Reporting to the Instrumentation Manager, you will work as part of a highly skilled, multi-disciplined team to ensure the smooth running of this lower tier COMAH facility
Working on a Monday - Friday basis, you will be rewarded for your skills and commitment with an excellent salary (negotiable dependent on skills and experience), along with a strong benefits package. This role will also involve:

*The full life-cycle management of chemical plant instrumentation projects from design through to commissioning
*Maintaining records on all items including modifications, repairs, specifications etc.
*The ability to create and use/understand CAD drawings including all types of Instrumentation drawings and P&ID's.
*The ability to manage the modification of instrumentation plant via a management of change system.

Skills and Qualifications
*A background in a related industry such as food, oil & gas, petro-chem or pharmaceutical
*Recognised Instrument apprenticeship and educated to HNC level as a minimum.
*Experience with the management of instrumentation projects as a minimum

The Role

As an Applications / Software Engineer your role will include all aspects of developing custom display configurations to suit customers' applications. These will centre on PowerView displays and PowerVision software.

The variety in what you'll work on is also a plus in this role. You'll be involved in both long and short projects that can vary in complexity, along with working closely with the end-user and having the opportunity to visit customers at their manufacturing sites.

You'll be responsible for;

* Taking ownership for delivering projects from initial conversations to final delivery and even supporting clients post-delivery
* Carrying out initial consultations, testing and troubleshooting, in order to gain a full understanding of their needs
* Working through the system I/O needs and matching these with a suitable display or I/O modules from the Enovation Controls range of products
* Presenting your solutions to a range of customers and end-users, including providing training
* Developing HMI software configurations for customers machine control applications
* Providing pre-sales advice to ensure correct product for the clients' needs
* Provide help and advice to internal staff and external customers, which includes travel to their sites, both here in the UK and overseas (on occasion)

The Person
In order to be considered for this Applications / Software Engineer role you'll need:

* Relevant qualifications within electronics or electrical engineering (HNC or Degree)
* A proven software / application / engineering background within a tightly regulated environment (e.g. Off-Highway, Marine, Power Generation, Mining and Oil & Gas)
* Experience and understanding of communication levels, i.e. CANBus J1939 or similar protocols
* Experience in Embedded C/C++ Programming and good understanding of logical program flow
* UI/UX (User Interface and User experience) understanding and experience
* Solid (hands-on) experience and understanding of electrical wiring practices
* An ability to learn new software systems
* A full UK driving licence and no restrictions on travel (UK and overseas)

As the Instrument Project Engineer, you will join the Instrumentation Department reporting to the Instrument Development Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a highly skilled installation, maintenance and calibration team within a lower tier COMAH facility.

The ideal candidate will have the experience listed below and must have the ability to perform with minimal supervision.

The full life-cycle management of chemical plant instrumentation projects from design through to commissioning involving all different types of instrumentation. E.g. level, flow, temperature, pressure and mass instrumentation, safety instrumented systems & intrinsic safety etc.
The ability to manage the modification of instrumentation plant via a management of change system.
The ability to create and use/understand CAD drawings including all types of Instrumentation drawings and P&ID's.
Maintaining records on all items including modifications, repairs, specifications etc.
Have experience working within the chemical process or other similar regulated industries. E.g. Pharmaceutical, Petro-chem, Food, or Oil & Gas
Experience of and a good understanding of the instrumentation aspects of DSEAR/ATEX compliance.
Good understanding of control, safety systems and functional safety standards IEC61508 & IEC61511 and be able to manage proof tests along HSE guidelines.
Sound knowledge of HSE requirements.
A good knowledge of Planned Preventive Maintenance, Total Productive Maintenance and continuous improvement will be highly beneficial.
Experienced in working to ISO 9001 standards.
Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Qualifications/Training

Recognised Instrument apprenticeship and educated to HNC level as a minimum.
Experience with the management of instrumentation projects.
Salary is circa £35k to £40k dependant on experience plus 25 days paid holiday (and all UK Bank Holidays), a 36.25 hour working week, paid sick scheme, free life assurance and access to a stakeholder pension scheme, based in West Midlands.

Job Description: Role: Aluminium Window Fabricator

Location: West Brom

Shift time: 08:00 – 16:30 Monday – Thursday / 08:00 – 14:30 Friday

Pay Rate: £9.50 - £11.00 p/hour + Overtime every week

Our industry leading customer are currently seeking Aluminium Window Fabricators on a long-term temp to perm contract. Our client are specialists in Aluminium windows, door frames and shop fronts.

Role Description:

* Fabricating Aluminium Windows

* Working on small to large products

* Working to 0.00mm Tolerances

* Working from drawings / workshop manuals

* Working alone and as part of a team

* Working to tight deadlines and completion dates

Skills and Requirements:

* Experience working with Metal Technology Systems, Reynaers Systems or Smart Window systems

* Previous experience is necessary

Hours of Work:

* 08:00 – 16:30 Monday – Thursday / 08:00 – 12:30 Friday

* Pay Rate: £9.50 – £11.00 p/hour + Overtime every week

Job Description: Are you a qualified Teaching Assistant?

Do you have experience working with children whom have additional needs?

Would you like to work in a variety of local SEN schools?

I am looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who is available ASAP to work in a variety of SEN schools in the West Bromwich area. The schools we work with have children who have a variety of needs, such as:

Learning Difficulties
Speech and Language Difficulties
Autistic Spectrum Disorder
Visual Impairment
Hearing Impairment
Behavioural Difficulties

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to:

Have experience and understand the needs of pupils with a wide range of complex needs
Have experience dealing with challenging behaviour
Assist teaching staff in the delivery of learning activities and work programmes
Undertake predetermined activities with pupils
Be required to liaise with parents and carers in conjunction with the teaching staff
Be expected to prepare and maintain learning equipment
Ensure that the classroom is kept clean and tidy
Have experience of working in a similar environment
Have a willingness to participate in relevant training and development opportunities
Be able to work on your own initiative
Be a pro-active team member, committed to raising standards and achievements
Have a passion for education and raising the achievement of all children

The SEN schools that we currently work with have a variety of needs. They require a regular bank of staff to attend their school when a permanent member of staff is off site. They may also require longer term staff who are able to cover short-term and long-term at the school. Please do apply for this position is you are also interested in long-term positions.
