Job Description: Adecco Aviation are very pleased to be supporting this aviation company based in the Gatwick/Crawley area with this role.

As a sales support specialist dealing with AOC (aircraft on ground) you will be responsible for dealing with sales and customer service/contract admin with both customers and vendors. This is a 12 hours shift based role working a 4 on 4 off pattern – 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off.

Supporting "Power by the hour" and "Cost per aircraft landing" contracts, duties will include the following:

Managing customer accounts and processing AOG and out of hours requirements;
Dealing with RFQs for service, components and parts;
Sourcing components and trade inventory via exchange, loan or sale;
Processing sales orders, pick tickets and POs;
Identifying and developing new sales opportunities;
Negotiate pricing and terms;

Working with external customers and internal staff, you will have previous experience in an aviation/aerospace environment in both sales and contract administration. You will have excellent attention to detail whilst working under your own initiative. Previous experience working with the Quantum inventory system would also be beneficial

Job Description: Based on the South Coast this leading developer of condition monitoring instruments are seeking an experienced R&D electronics engineer with a research (physics and optics) background to further research activities, and offer a holistic approach to the successful conception, development and implementation of new products (NPD). Assist and advise engineers as a technical authority within the company. The support of legacy product is also required delivering high technical standards.

The candidate will interact at all levels; both internally and with our customers – representing the company in academic forums. This work will support the Business Units portfolio of condition monitoring equipment within a wide range of industries including marine and industrial applications

Main Duties

·Customer interfacing at high technical levels to understand needs and opportunities.

·Research new techniques and technologies – with the aim of patent generation.

·Determine product performance requirements

·Manage the preparation of design concepts to meet product specifications

·New product and analytical technique generation and research.

·New Product Development and introduction projects (analogue and digital circuit design/PCB layout).

·Assure product design integrity at all phases of the product life cycle

Requirements:

·Education: Degree in relevant (Physics/Electronic Engineering) discipline and substantial technical background.

·Significant experience with instrumentation creation and development.

·Analytical techniques including Infra-Red, magnetometry and spectroscopy

·Analogue/Digital circuit design and development plus PCB layout.

·Can-do attitude and flexibility. Previous hands-on experience of electro-mechanical applications/controls engineering is highly desirable.

·Proven ability to learn new technologies.

·Strong communicator.

·Strong ability to collaborate and influence organisational direction.
