Global Sales Manager/ Sales Director
Excellent Salary, benefits & bonus

My client provides innovative solutions for liquid process control and testing. This new acquisition belongs to an extremely well established group of companies who provide capital goods, instrumentation, consultancy services and technical airflow products and services on a national and international basis.

Your role as a Global Sales Manager will be to find new customers for this unique range of products and services. The products are primarily used in the brewing, dairy, juice and processed liquid foodstuffs industries but are equally applicable to pharmaceutical, petrochemical and other industries.

The principle duties of the International Sales Manager will be, but are not limited to:
o Development of a sales plan to promote the above technologies on a world wide basis
o To deliver the sales to support the same
o To assist in the development of the product specifications for new products in the pipeline and next generations of those existing
o To liaise with the dedicated company fulfilment staff to provide prompt efficient service to all customers
o To work with the Group marketing resource to promote the products above and the supporting technology so that they become the relevant industry standard
o To work with other sales channels in the Group to cross sell group products where appropriate
The role is very much a "blank canvas" for the successful candidate to develop. In view of this, applicants should note that there is a significant travel requirement associated with this position. As a result you will live close to an international transport hub and be able to be on site in Hampshire at the HO periodically.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will:
o Have senior sales experience within the liquid processing/testing industry
o Have a demonstrable sales track record
o Be able to articulate both the underlying technology and value proposition for technical products
o Be comfortable with developing the technologies from a low market penetration base and understand the psychology and needs of a small but growing business that is part of a larger group
o Be comfortable with significant overseas travel, with proven experience
o Have the business hunger to make great, but unrecognised, technology a market leader
