Trade Marketing Manager, Power Tools, Surrey, £50,000 Basic plus bonuses + Executive package. This is a highly varied role with an internationally recognised brand that is a major supplier of Power Tools into the trade.

As Trade Marketing Manager, you will work closely with Senior Management and Sales to develop and execute a strategy for maintaining and increasing market share within the company's most significant accounts. These include the top electrical wholesalers, tool distributors and specialist online trade retailers.

This is a cross-functional role that is highly varied and unusual as it is both analytical and commercially oriented. Working with data from the accounts, you will identify opportunities and understand the account's own strategies so that maximum sales potential is achieved. In addition, you will work with the trade accounts on dual marketing initiatives and work with third-party marketing agencies to create marketing collateral. In addition, you will be the lead on choosing and organising pan-European trade shows and exhibitions.

To succeed you will be used to analysing complex data from accounts and working with them to maximise opportunities. In addition, you will be used to co-ordinating third-party marketers to put together marketing collateral and events. The role is more-sales led than creative and would suit someone that perhaps started their career in sales before venturing into trade marketing.

To apply:

* You will be a graduate in a business or marketing-related discipline with 5 years' experience in commercial roles with a couple of years in trade delivery.

* Ideally, your experience will be in marketing products into trade accounts - for example, these could be building products, electrical products, electronic products, etc.

* You will be a self-managing and proactive person that is renowned for identifying and exploiting opportunities.

* While this role is working for a global corporate company, it requires an individual with an entrepreneurial outlook that is always looking for new ways to get better results.

* While English is the firm's global business language, an understanding of different international markets would be useful and an additional language to English would be the 'icing on the cake'.
