Job Description: Role: Senior Data Centre Engineer

Location: Malvern area, Worcestershire

Salary: Dependent on experience

The Role:

* Design, configure and deploy Data Centre and onsite server-based systems in line with the employer’s designs

* Assist the Sales team on technical projects and requests from the customer

* Ensure the customer SLAs’ are met for deployments

* Maintaining a consistently high level of service delivery

* Serve as an escalation point for the Support team in regards to Data Centre technology incidents and requests

Key Responsibilities:

* Deploy technical projects and bespoke configurations on customer premises (remote or on-Site).

* Act as a technical lead for site deployments

* Troubleshootingtechnical investigationsroute cause analysis

* Assist the Project Manager with change requests in regards to your deployments.

* Perform and Process technical surveys and audits

Documentation

* Identify areas where processes can be improvednewly implemented (Internal and Customers specific)

* Update/maintain Data Centre documentation and procedures

* Ensure sufficient logs/detail is collected for technical escalation or reassignment to 3rd Party providers

* Liaise with 3rd parties where necessary to ensure an efficient resolution to incidents/requests are achieved within the contractual SLA

Reporting

* Assist with monthly activity reports and weekly updates on Project Deployments.

* Liaise with the Project Manager to ensure projects are completed within the estimated time scale

Education/ Experience:

* Cisco certifications are desired (Should be current and valid)

* Cisco CCNA Data Centre highly desirable

* Working towards or obtained Cisco CCNP Data Centre qualifications

* Cisco CCNA and or CCNP Routing and Switching highly desirable

* VMWare VCP 5/6 highly desirable

Additional Requirements:

* Person would need to be able to travel and spend time away from home for short periods of time

* Have a clean valid UK driving license

* Willing to commute to our office in Malvern for the initial period of employment or relocate, homeworking available following the employee probationary period for candidates whose commute to the employer’s office would be over one hour

Skills/ Knowledge:

* A good understanding of ITIL Process

* A good understanding of Data Centre, Azure and or AWS technologies

* A good understanding of Data Centre management applications

* A strong knowledge of the Cisco Data Centre, VMware, Azure (and or AWS) and the Microsoft Server portfolio

* Ability to deploy and maintain Cisco, VMware and Microsoft products according to the appropriate guidelines:

This is interdepot trunking work running out of Worcester, you will be required to carry out trailer swaps at any of our clients outbases over the UK usually just 1 drop. The  Role

About the opportunity:
Our client realises that service offering is unique, as are the people that work for them, and that’s why they’re currently looking for Trainees like you to join them. Upon completion of the 8 week training programme, you’ll be considered for a permanent position within their response centre.
You’ll learn to take calls for a range of services including telecare, telehealth, in and out-of-hours repair and housing enquiries and lone worker monitoring. You’ll provide a lifeline for some of their service users, day and night, so a helpful and friendly approach is essential!
What they’re looking for:
Candidates should have excellent communication skills, the ability to empathise with others and the ability to deal with difficult situations in a calm manner. Experience of working in a customer facing environment is preferred but not essential.
A flexible approach is also essential as shift work will be required. Example shift times are as follows – 0700 – 1500, 0800 – 1600, 1500 – 2300, 1630 – 2300, (Apply online only) – and you would be expected to work the whole range if you were successful after the 8 week training period.

Job Description: Test Automation Engineer – £30-£35k – Based in Malvern

A global tech company are currently recruiting for a Test Automation Engineer to help grow their portfolio of products within their speech recognition informatics division.
The products are already revolutionising a range of industries, with a current focus being on the healthcare sector who are benefiting hugely from their cutting-edge technology.

You will lead the project to increase our automated, end-to-end test coverage of critical customer-facing web applications by designing, developing and maintaining suites of automated, end-to-end tests that test the functionality of all four Fluency for Transcription web applications.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain the current suite of automated end-to-end tests.
Design and develop new programmatical tests using the C# programming language
Review and investigate any failures with the overnight test run to determine the root causes and apply fixes
Tests need to be run in several different environments – including Dev, QA and all four production environments.

Skills required..
Experience of developing automated tests.
Experience of using automation test frameworks such as Selenium and Cypress.
Some experience of computer programming, specifically web development.
Components of a webpage: HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
Visual Studio, C# or similar programming language, software design patterns and principles.
Dev, QA and all four production environments.
Some experience of working in an Agile development team environment.

Lead Finance Officer

£27,819 per annum (rising to £29,283 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Finance Officer to work within the Care Operations Finance Team. Your role will include monthly journal processing, Management Accounts and Commercial Pack Reporting. As a minimum, you will be AAT qualified or have relevant professional experience.

The role of Lead Finance Officer will include:

* Preparing Monthly Management Accounts and Balance Sheet Reconciliations

* Preparing ad-hoc business information for the Care Operations Finance Team to enable effective monitoring, business planning and effective financial management

* Maintaining monitoring systems as required to ensure a robust control environment is maintained and to safeguard the organisation's interest

* Ensuring the maintenance, accuracy and completeness of financial records to ensure regulatory and statutory requirements are met

Skills and Experiences:

* Highly numerate with a good understanding of accounting principles and compliance

* Experience of using SAP is essential

* Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads

* Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required
