Job Description: Position: Depot Maintenance Electrician

Location: Brackmills, Northampton, NN4 7BW

Salary: £28,387 moving to £30,097 after 6 months + annual call out allowance of £2,273 (on call of 1 week in every 3 where you get £174.89 every 3 weeks + overtime of hours worked in the week you are on call).

On call is paid at time and a third (Mon-Fri), and for weekend hours, double time

Benefits: Pension and private medical and 33 days holiday per year (including bank holidays). Pool vehicle provided for when on call.

Role is Monday to Friday – Normal Daytime Hours.

This will result in the appointment of a Depot Maintenance Electrician who will take responsibility for providing a planned and reactive maintenance service across the Asda Distribution Centres in Brackmills, Northampton, NN4 7BW.

The maintenance will be provided across a range of electrical and mechanical plant and therefore exposure to both electrical and mechanical equipment is required.

Your technical experience could have been gained from any number of sectors including Warehousing, Distribution, Logistics, Facilities, Food Production Plants or indeed a Factory environment. The plant is heavy industrial and isn’t likely to suit candidates from an electrical installation background.

You will be positive in approach, able to work in a dynamic business environment, but above all be committed to the delivery of outstanding customer service. You will be a strong communicator at all levels and be able to react to priority changes.

You will be fully qualified and have served an electrical or mechanical apprenticeship and therefore hold a City & Guilds (Parts 1,2 and 3) or Level 3 NVQ Electrical/Mechanical qualification plus 17th or 18th edition.

Candidates must have a full and valid driving licence and full use of their own vehicle (pool vehicle will be provided for when you are on call).

A fast paced Fragrance Distributer is looking for a Category merchandiser to join their ever growing team.

You will work closely with the Account Manager and be in charged of the key FMCG Grocer accounts.

This is a broad merchandising role so the successful Category Merchandiser will need to be adaptable as the role is both analytical and operational and positioned "between" buying, marketing and operations plus looking after the key customer Grocer accounts.

Other key responsibilities will include:

* Product File Management ensuring accurate and up to date listings
* Managing customer stock and sales models using customer portals such as ASDA retail Link and TESCO Connect
* Inventory Management by projecting requirements to plan intake with buying
* Operational Planning to formulate detailed plans for outbound
* Management Information, producing weekly / monthly management reports
* Planning future Fragrance ranges by analyzing customer sales data
* Engaging with Customers by email, phone and face to face

The role is pivotal in the delivery of services to key accounts.

The ideal Category Manager will also need to build strong internal relationships with buying, marketing and operations, whilst supporting Senior Management.

You will also need to forge excellent external relationships with the Customer's Buying and Supply teams to deliver exceptional customer service.

If you have the following knowledge, skills and experience:

* +3 years experience in retail / FMCG supply encompassing Merchandising, Business reporting, Supply Chain Management and Operational Planning
* Relevant degree
* Use of inventory systems; NAV preferable
* Experience with customer portals such as ASDA retail Link and TESCO Connect
* Microsoft office with strong Excel skills - formulas such as IF, SUMIF, SUMIFS, V Lookup, Index Match plus pivot tables
* Highly numerical and analytical with excellent attention to detail and accuracy

The Role

We are looking for a QA Technician to join our team on a permanent basis working. The role is based in a fast-paced chilled food environment, which requires initiative and an ability to “think on your feet”.

Your key duties and responsibilities will include:

* To support the production teams and other departmental functions in resolving quality issues

* Carry out daily taste panels as part of reviewing the quality of products

* Carry out routine tasks such as swabbing, air plates and product sampling in line with schedules in place, send to Lab and investigate OOS results

* Carry out Pre Despatch Verification (PDV) checks

* Support the investigation into customer complaints including ability to carry our full traceability exercises

* Support on site audits by third parties

* Carry out temperature monitoring and measurement for onsite temperature systems as required

* Carry out scheduled calibration checks e.g. scales, belts etc

* Carry out and report scheduled internal audits and close of corrective actions

* Support NPD and commercial in new launches through line set ups for labelling, coding, X rays, check weigher, Metal detection

* Daily paperwork checks of departmental paperwork including traceability and CCP checks

The Successful Individual

To be successful in the role, you will have the following required skills, experience, knowledge and qualifications:

* You will ideally have previous experience in a production or QA environment.

* The successful candidate would need to be computer literate, details orientated and able to work to tight deadlines under pressure.

Job Description: Senior Thermoforming Technician
Based in St Helens, Merseyside

Salary: Circa £18 Per Hour
Shift: 4 on 4 off Days and Nights
The client:
A leading designer and manufacturer of innovative, environmentally conscious, plastic packaging to promote protect and prolong food, medical and retail products. Products can be found in all the major retailers like: Asda, Waitrose, J. Sainsbury, Tesco, Aldi, Lidl.
Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Lead best practice for the company’s tool setting
⦁ Work in accordance with the company’s BRC IOP Certification, Health & Safety rules and GMP
⦁ Commission tooling for new products, including CPET, APET & PP materials
⦁ Review current practices & services, develop and implement a programme of enhancements to reduce change-over times, increase CPM & improve running profile
⦁ Be responsible for training & development of shift setters, supervisors and operators
⦁ Report on tool performance to Factory Manager
⦁ Manage factory waste
⦁ Develop and work to KPI’s
⦁ Maintain process, tool and training records
Personal Profile & Experience Requirements:
⦁ Enthusiastic, self-motivated, work on own initiative
⦁ Minimum 5 years’ tool setting of Thermoforming machines
⦁ Experience of APET, CPET & PP materials
⦁ Engineering qualification / time served
⦁ Computer literate in the use of MS Excel, MS Word & Power point
⦁ Experience of quality management system BRC / ISO
⦁ Experience and Qualified in HACCP
⦁ Experience of World Class / Lean manufacturing
⦁ Demonstrate continuous improvement initiatives
⦁ Process fault finding and rectification techniques (not electric / electronic)
⦁ Flexible approach to working hours
Distinct Advantages:
⦁ Internal Auditor certificate
⦁ Health and Safety qualification
⦁ 17th Edition Electrical
⦁ Electronics experience
⦁ FLT Counterbalance license
