We are looking for a number of Hygiene Cleaning Operatives to work within our busy, chilled food manufacturing facility in Normanton, West Yorkshire.
Candidates must be keen, hardworking, reliable and flexible.
They should also have a good level of manual dexterity, along with good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions. Although previous hygiene experience from within the food industry would be advantageous it is not essential as you will be trained to undertake a variety of tasks within the cleaning process.
Candidates will have had prior hygiene experience, ideally from within the food industry although we would be interested to hear from those with experience from within similar high-risk environments such as the pharmaceuticals. This position involves cleaning machinery that slices and packs meat.
The 8-hour shifts rotate 4 on 2 off, 11.00pm-7.00am (including weekends and bank holidays).
We offer a modern and clean working environment and pay £9.69 per hour.
Hygiene experience within the food industry is advantageous but it is not essential! You will be trained to undertake a variety of tasks within the cleaning process.

THE JOB

·Advise the General Store Manager (GSM) of any repair and maintenance issues that are likely to affect the smooth running of the store

THE PERSON:

To be considered for this position, the following qualifications and papers are required and are essential requirements of the role:

·Full driving licence

·Electrically qualified to City & Guilds (Part 236 1,2) or City & Guilds (2330 Levels 2,3) or level 3 NVQ electrical qualifications

This role is part time and permanent and is 20 hours per week

My client is a national Facilities Management company employing over 12,000 people working nationally with one of the UK’s major Supermarkets.

They have a fantastic opportunity for you join their cleaning team as Cleaning Section Leader for the ASDA Supermarket in Quedgeley, delivering the cleaning specification and maintaining hygiene standards by leading and coaching the store based team.

This is a hands-on role requiring a team player who will not only manage their team but work alongside them delivering janitorial and cleaning services. The position is a permanent and is a part time role working 20 hours a week, working 5 days out of 7 days and will include some weekend work.

From your 20 hours, 10 hours will be managing the cleaning team and 10 hours will be hands on cleaning.

The current shifts for this role are as follows:

Monday 9.00am – 12.00pm

Tuesday 12.00pm – 5.00pm

Wednesday Day Off

Thursday Day Off

Friday 10.00am – 2.00pm

Saturday 10.00am – 3.00pm

Sunday 9.00am – 12.00pm

There is some flexibility in these shifts if required.

They are looking for a candidate who has a managerial or strong supervisory background and may be ready to take on their first management role in this challenging position. Your technical experience could have been gained from any number of sectors including Warehousing, Distribution, Logistics, Facilities, Food Production Plants or indeed a Factory environment. The plant is heavy industrial and isn’t likely to suit candidates from an electrical installation background.

You will be positive in approach, able to work in a dynamic business environment, but above all be committed to the delivery of outstanding customer service. You will be a strong communicator at all levels and be able to react to priority changes.

You will be fully qualified and have served an electrical or mechanical apprenticeship and therefore hold a City & Guilds (Parts 1,2 and 3) or Level 3 NVQ Electrical/Mechanical qualification plus 17th or 18th edition.

You will work closely with the Account Manager and be in charged of the key FMCG Grocer accounts.

This is a broad merchandising role so the successful Category Merchandiser will need to be adaptable as the role is both analytical and operational and positioned "between" buying, marketing and operations plus looking after the key customer Grocer accounts.

* Product File Management ensuring accurate and up to date listings

We are looking for a highly ambitious and driven Facilities and Utilities Engineering Manager for our site at Bridgwater.

The facilities and utilities Engineering Manager manages the designated engineering team to deliver a cost effective engineering function to support the overall achievement of operational goals and targets of the budget and Bridgwater site.

You will support the delivery of projects on the agreed reduction in energy consumption as well as suggesting and implementing alternative measures for the waste reduction across the site.

The Utilities and Facilities Engineering Manager ensure the sites compliance to all company, legislative and statutory requirements and is the Electrical Duty holder, maintaining and controlling the electrical standards reflective of the Electricity at Work Act 1989.

About You

You will have an extensive Electrical Engineering background with experience of production equipment and thorough understanding of electrical duties in regards to Waste and energy consumption.

You will have good, proven leadership skills and the ability to drive new ideas and initiatives within a fast paced, production environment.

SUMMARY:

As part of the Technical Team, reporting to the Technical Manager, you will carry out the above role in line with the company business plan, liaising with all appropriate Director's, Manager's and staff throughout the business responsible for all technical aspects across the Hawes site.

As a Manager, as well as the main duties listed below you will be instrumental in understanding and sharing the responsibility of all relevant legal requirements of the business including H&S, all aspects of hygiene, legal labelling, employment law and any other aspect relevant to your role or the business.

You will be expected to partake in daily production meetings and regular quality management meetings.

It is the responsibility of each individual manager to fully brief their deputies prior to any absence.

OVERVIEW OF POST:

Qualified to degree level in a science or food related subject and ideally with some manufacturing experience, as Technical Manager, you will be one of the senior technical persons on site reporting to the company Technical Manager, taking responsibility for all aspects of technical compliance.

As Technical Manager you'll play a dual role; on one hand, you'll need to be a people person and thrive as part of a team. On the other hand, you'll need a genuine desire to lead. You must be able to inspire individuals and learn how to utilise your strong leadership skills. Many of the people you're managing will have lots of experience and they'll expect you to prove yourself.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for, compliance to BRC and retailer standards and systems
Have experience of retailer specific systems and protocols - M&S, Tesco, JS, Morrisons, Asda, Coop, Waitrose
Food Production and factory performance, all products meeting agreed quality attributes every day in full.
Work with the production team to monitor performance of, and deliver agreed KPI's
Manage and monitor incoming raw materials and agree changes as appropriate
Monitor site hygiene - police and advise on corrective action plans
Formulate and define (with support) the site GMP standards.
Promote, enforce and implement a positive culture of GMP.
Monitor trends in chemical and microbiological standards; shape and deliver improvement plans
Manage lab functions and personnel including training needs, quality management standards, workload and procedures in this area.
Manage outside lab testing regimes
To oversee the supplier approval process for the business, managing technical demands for:
raw material and packaging
production planning
shelf life
storage location
secondary packaging
dispatch
labour requirements for QC etc
Monitor quality with production managers
Work collaboratively with SLT to deliver profit improvement plans for the site
Work with NPD to deliver innovation and maintain quality to meet customer needs
To work closely with NPD & Sales team on specific projects ensuring that products meet the customer's specific policies on for example nutrition and allergens.
Understand the requirements of the Supply Chain Team and support with technical guidance
Have a sound understanding of the principles of H&S, HACCP, TACCP etc., etc.
HACCP team member at the Hawes site.
Equipment hygiene & condition
Ensuring the Mechanics of traceability in place
Attend customer meetings and supplier sites as and when necessary.

Warehouse/Returns Operative - Full Time

Cubed Resourcing are advertising for our client Company Shop based on the Wentworth Industrial Estate near the M1 Motorway in Tankersley (Barnsley). We are looking for warehouse operatives to receive and process products from various supermarkets and retail outlets ready for resale or placing into stock.

We are looking for colleagues who are ready to commence assignments at our client who work with businesses such as Morrisons, Ocado, ASDA, Tesco, Waitrose and many more major retailers and world renowned brands.

Majority of positions at site are based on a day/late shift and are offered as ongoing work with potential permanent opportunities in 2020 for those colleagues performing in line with the clients requirements. However there are other shifts and days of work available if you require flexibility in your work/life balance.

Company Shop are keen to promote their belief in a family orientated working environment. They have a full training program in which new colleagues will be shadowing experienced workers across the various jobs within departments. Experience within a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.

The position involves:

Organising various retail stock (food, personal care, cleaning products etc.)

£7.70 - £8.21
Overtime is available during busy periods.
Gross weekly earnings of up to £328.

Site Opening/Working Hours:

Various start and finish times throughout the week/weekends with some of the main shifts being as per below

Mon - Fri 06:00 - 14:30
Mon - Fri 14:30 - 22:00
Additional shifts can be available Sat & Sun 08:00 - 16:30

We are looking for applicants that can work full time hours at least 5 out of 7 days per week (varied working days). The client will aim to allocate shifts according to your preference as long as the agreed start and finish times are adhered to. This will be discussed with you when contact is made to/from Cubed Resourcing.

Company Shop have a fantastic on site restaurant facility ran by a chef from a Michelin Star Restaurant. The menu is heavily subsidised and offers a wide range of high quality meals for during and indeed after working hours (Take away option).

Your own transport will be a distinct advantage due to location and shift start/finish times.
