The role:

Working as part of a 2 man crew home delivery team. Driving a 7.5t vehicle with an experienced drivers mate. Delivering and installing furniture into customers homes, ensuring the highest level of customer service is achieved. Heavy lifting is involved.

Rate of pay paye £10.00. Umbrella / ltd £12.00 p/h
4 days per week between Monday and Saturday. 4 X 12hr shifts approx.
04:30 - 07:00 starts
Permanent salary + benefits
Full training is provided
You will need to have a criminal check The Person:

A full UK driving licence with entitlement to drive 7.5t vehicles
No more than 6 points and at least 12 months driving experience
Valid Digital tachograph and CPC Card
Able to work in a demanding job that requires you to load and unload your vehicle, deliver and assemble furniture
Experience in home / business delivery essential
This is a customer facing role so presentation and attitude are essential

Our delivery drivers will be carrying out customer deliveries around the UK and carry out installations of the product, including building furniture as required. You will work closely with the Q.C team and customer services team to ensure the best customer experience.

You will be meeting customers within their properties and you must be presentable, polite and professional at all times during your visit to customer homes, sometimes you will be the only person they meet from the client and will be the face of the brand.

Job Responsibilities:

* All deliveries are carried out to "white glove" standards including keeping the customer informed at all times.

* To monitor and maintain the tools and vehicle provided to the highest standard.

* All customers are treated the same regardless of the delivery.

* To liaise with customer services and Q.C. to improve our service and standards.

* Manage own time (hours) to ensure the route is completed legally.

* To ensure all returns/collections are suitably wrapped to prevent damage

* To train team members to our white glove standard to exceed customer expectations.

Skills & Knowledge:

* Driving licence with less than 6 points (to suit vehicle required).

* Good organisational skills with great attention to detail.

* Knowledge of the UK road system.

* Knowledge of scanning equipment.

* Good communication skills.

* Ability to adapt on the job to give great customer experience.

Please note: This role will involve HEAVY LIFTING so you must be physically fit and able to carry heavy loads, within customer homes.

Hours of work are from 05:45am, which you will meet at the Swindon depot and then leave around 06:00am. The day will finish when all your deliveries are completed on the run sheet, so your hours of work will vary.

This will also be on an Ad-Hoc basis, however they are very busy and always growing. You will also have the opportunity to go permanent, following a successful trial period.
